Benjamin R Lee, PhD
Climate change plant ecologist

I am a climate change plant ecologist working towards a more mechanistic understanding of how temperate forests are responding to climate change. I am interested in how plant phenology is shifting in response to climate change and how these shifts affect plant performance and species interactions. Other research topics include plant invasions, plant-mycorrhizal interactions, herbarium science, and ecosystem function.
I am currently a postdoc fellow at the Institute for Global Change Biology at the University of Michigan. I am working with Drs. Inés Ibáñez, Aimée Classen, Peter Reich, and Chris Gough.
